Service Learning!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last week at our service learning meeting we discussed many ways to handle the lunches in our school. We thought about looking into sponsors for our school lunch such as McDonald's and Burger King. We also talked about taking a walk to Ara mark to suggest changes in our school lunch. This week we will be taking a trip to the food stores located closet to our school.

progress in which class...?
The most progress I had out of all of my classes is Algebra. I feel that I am very strong in Algebra. Thanks to my new teacher Ms.D. Algebra never came off hard too me and Ms.D helped me learn and know how to do it again. Although I thought that she wasn't a strong teacher, I learned many from her teaching me. I love math and beeing in Ms. D class, I haven't lost one bit of interest in math. Ms. D is a very intelligent lady and she takes her time. She is very timid and patient.

reflections of nhd....!
The most hard part about NhD, especially when your working by yourself, is getting the parts due on time. I thought that by working by myself, that it would be easier, but it wasn't. One thing I would change is instead of working on an exhibit, is writing a paer. Since I like working alone, I now figured that a paper would be easier. I seen plenty of friendships fall apart over NhD. That is why I refuse to work with someone else.

Should Huck Finn be taught @ CHS?
There were many disagreements on whether The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn should be taught at CHS. A lot of people also agree with teaching the book. In my opinion the book should be taught at CHS. This book should be taught at CHS because it will give everyone an equal chance to learn about this book, since it is such a good book. If this book is taught at CHS, black people may not get offended because they are use to be called a negro. They may understand the use of the language depending on the maturity level of the class or what grade the book is being taught in. Being that this book was made during slavery. But white people may get offended because the main character, Huck Finn, could not read or write. They may feel like that is not fair.
